Eyal Chehanowski
I stumbled into yoga back in 1996 while living in New York, and honestly, I had no idea how much it would change my life. What started as a curiosity quickly became an integral part of who I am.
A few years later, I found myself in Mysore, practicing under the legendary Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the father of Ashtanga Yoga—a humbling and transformative experience that shaped my path as both a student and a teacher.
In 2000, I completed my teacher training at Jivamukti Yoga, but my journey didn’t stop there. I’ve been fortunate to study with incredible teachers like Richard Freeman and John Evans, whose wisdom continues to inspire me. Over the years, I’ve learned to weave together traditional teachings with my exploration, creating a practice that’s grounded, dynamic, and always evolving.
